Pneumatic Cyclone

The Pneumatic Cyclone is designed to efficiently separate product from conveying air in pneumatic transport systems, ensuring reliable material recovery, low product loss, and continuous process operation.

The Pneumatic Cyclone is a high-efficiency separation unit used in pneumatic conveying systems throughout flour mills, semolina mills, feed plants, and grain processing facilities. Utilizing centrifugal force, it separates the product-air mixture generated during pneumatic transport and allows the product to be discharged while the conveying air continues through the filtration system.

As the product-air mixture enters the cyclone tangentially, a rotating airflow is created inside the cylindrical-conical body. The resulting centrifugal forces drive the product particles toward the cyclone wall, causing them to move downward into the discharge section, while the cleaned air exits through the upper outlet. This simple yet highly effective operating principle ensures excellent separation efficiency with minimal pressure loss.

Designed for continuous industrial operation, the Pneumatic Cyclone offers a compact footprint, low maintenance requirements, and outstanding operational reliability. It is particularly suitable for installations with dense pneumatic conveying networks where efficient product recovery and clean operation are essential. The machine can be supplied with different inlet configurations and can be integrated with rotary airlocks and filtration equipment for maximum system performance.

Working Principle

The air-product mixture enters the cyclone tangentially, creating centrifugal force that separates the product from the conveying air. The separated material is discharged through the outlet, while the cleaned air exits from the top and is directed to the aspiration or filtration system.
