The Mono Cyclone is a high-efficiency separation unit used in grain cleaning, aspiration, and pneumatic conveying systems. Utilizing centrifugal force, it separates product particles from the air stream and allows the recovered material to be returned to the process while the cleaned air continues toward filters, fans, or central aspiration systems.
Unlike larger pneumatic cyclones used in conveying networks, the Mono Cyclone is generally preferred at localized separation points where compact dimensions, equipment protection, and effective dust management are required. It is commonly installed after aspiration channels, before filters, or ahead of central dust collection systems to prevent heavy particles and contaminants from reaching sensitive downstream equipment.
Its cylindrical and conical body design creates a controlled vortex that forces heavier particles toward the cyclone wall. The separated material is discharged through an airlock, while the cleaned air exits from the upper section and continues through the air handling system. This process improves filtration efficiency, reduces wear on filters and fans, and contributes to stable plant operation.
OZAN Milling Mono Cyclone solutions are engineered for reliable separation performance, low maintenance requirements, and easy integration into modern grain cleaning and aspiration systems. Their compact footprint makes them particularly suitable for installations where available space is limited without compromising separation efficiency.
