Hammer Mill

The Hammer Mill is designed to reduce grain by-products and bulk materials into fine, uniform particles through high-speed impact grinding. It provides an efficient solution for product recovery, by-product utilization, and feed processing applications within modern milling facilities.

The Hammer Mill is a high-performance grinding machine used in flour mills, semolina plants, feed mills, and grain processing facilities for particle size reduction and by-product recovery. It is particularly effective for processing materials such as bran, broken wheat, screenings, husks, grain residues, and other by-products generated during the cleaning and milling process.

By converting coarse materials into uniform fine particles, the Hammer Mill enables valuable by-products to be reused in feed production, pelletizing operations, or other industrial applications. This contributes to improved plant efficiency, reduced waste generation, and increased utilization of raw materials.

The machine utilizes a rotor equipped with specially designed hammers rotating at high speed within a grinding chamber. The repeated impact between the hammers and the product rapidly reduces particle size, while interchangeable screens determine the final product fineness. This allows the machine to be adapted to different materials and production requirements.

OZAN Milling Hammer Mill solutions are engineered for durability, consistent grinding performance, and low operating costs. Their robust construction, optimized rotor design, and maintenance-friendly configuration ensure reliable operation even under demanding industrial conditions.

Working Principle

The product is fed into the grinding chamber where it is impacted by high-speed rotating hammers. The repeated impact between the hammers and the material reduces the particle size until it passes through the selected screen openings, producing a uniform final product.
